Meet Dr. Margaret Chou

Margaret Chou, MD

Dr. Margaret Chou is the newest addition to the team at CAPSNY. With her extensive educational background and clinical experience, Dr. Chou is dedicated to delivering personalized and cutting-edge dermatological care. Born and raised in the Tristate area, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Columbia University. She subsequently continued her medical education at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, graduating with a Distinction in Research and being honored as Intern of the Year during her first year of training. During her time in medical school, she was also a research fellow at New York University, working with the Associate Dean for Clinical Research Strategy, Dr. Iman Osman. There, she used artificial intelligence to analyze pathological specimens and improve prognostication for patients with melanoma. She is currently completing her dermatology residency at Hackensack Meridian Health, where she has been selected as Chief Resident. This role has allowed her to refine her expertise and leadership skills in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. 

Dr. Chou’s practice focuses on a broad spectrum of cosmetic dermatological treatments, including advanced skin rejuvenation techniques, laser therapies, and injectables. Her commitment to the latest innovations in dermatology, as evidenced by her numerous publications in respected dermatology journals, ensures that her patients benefit from the most effective and up-to-date treatments. She was named a Pfizer Rising Derm Star in 2024 and has presented her research at many conferences, most recently at the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery 2023 and 2024 annual meetings.
